Gibson County Patriots,

   Meeting on June 10th, 2010 the "GibsonCounty Patriots" elected to endorse candidates for office based on 2/3 vote of approval. Each member is encouraged to research facts about candidates they would be in favor of supporting as well as facts about his competing candidates. We will be establishing a time frame for our internal elections for endorsements to allow ample time before elections to make public our endorsements. Last of all for each candidate elected as being the best we can select out of those running, we must decide by 2/3 majority if that candidate actually meets a standard suitable to earn our endorsement. Facts may arise during the debate excluding all candidates from endorsement. We do not endorse candidates simply because they may be the lesser of the evils. We consider it far better not to endorse at all and simply state that all candidates for that office are unacceptable for endorsement. No one will be qualified to vote unless they have attended at least two prior meetings and are a registered voter in the State of Tennessee. 

  

   We will not provide financial support to any candidate from group funds unless a donation is given to us for that specific purpose and given to support a candidate that we have endorsed. As long as funds of the organization are not used to support candidates no individuals time or money will be used to support a candidate that they do not personally agree with supporting.
